Go beyond Siargao’s surf and discover the heart of the island—its people. This immersive cultural experience takes you to the eco-campus of Tropical Academy, where your first experience is a hands-on cooking class led by a local farmer. The menu features healthy, home-cooked favorites, which you will then enjoy in a farm-to-table lunch.

In the afternoon, meet women artisans from a northern weaving community and learn to craft a small handmade cup holder from native grass to take home as a souvenir. End the day in Pacifico, where you’ll have time to swim, stroll along the beach, explore the quiet surf town, or enjoy a relaxing sundowner by the sea. Your participation directly supports local livelihood programs of Tropical Academy & the NGO Lokal Lab, making this an enriching experience for both you and the community.

This is Siargao’s only eco campus run by non-profit Lokal Lab, located in San Isidro, a municipality approximately 45 minutes away from General Luna. The eco campus is home to Ihayas Farm, promoting sustainable farming and local food systems. Activities at the campus: • Get your hands dirty at Ihayas Farm to learn about sustainable farming and local food systems. • Joiner a cooking workshop where you learn to prepare traditional Siargaonon dishes using fresh, naturally grown local ingredients, then enjoy your creations for lunch. • Experience banig weaving with local artisans - sit down with skilled weavers and craft your own handmade banig basket, a meaningful souvenir to take home.
Pacifico Surf Town

Pacifico is a laid-back, little surf town along the eastern coast of the island, facing the Pacific Ocean. You'll find small shops and restaurants along its short stretch. The wide beach is great for sun-bathing or simply relaxing. The surf is appropriate for all levels - from beginners to advance level.

    Full Payment Option
    • If you cancel at least 1 days before event/arrival, you will receive a 90% refund and a 10% cancellation fee will apply.
    • If you cancel within 0 days before event/arrival, you will receive a 50% refund and a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
    Partial Payment Option
    • A partial payment of 50% of the total package cost is required. The remaining balance must be fully settled at least 0 days before event/arrival.
